I found this server called Crafters SMP and it is all about long term survival. It is whitelisted and tries to feel like classic vanilla Minecraft with only a few plugins. The whole idea is to keep the same world forever.
They say the map will never reset. There are daily and monthly backups so builds are kept safe for a long time. This makes it nice if you want to start a big project without worrying it will get deleted.
The server started in January 2021 and it was made just to hold players builds as long as possible. It really feels like they want that old 2011 to 2013 style where you stay on the same world with the same people.

On part vraiment de zero ici. Tout est a construire les bases les fermes et la ville. Le createur a deja fait la meme chose sur un autre serveur et ca fonctionne alors il croit que celui ci va aussi bien marcher.

Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy Minecraft server that tries to feel like pure vanilla survival. It opened on October 11th 2024 and runs on a host in New York City.
You can join with Java versions between 1.7.2 and 1.21.11 and they recommend using 1.21.10 so you do not run into random issues. The world border is huge at two million blocks so there is tons of space to explore and build.
The server has no map resets and no teleport commands so travel and distance actually matter. There is no pay to win at all. Griefing and PVP are fully allowed so you really have to watch your back. The only special command they allow is spawn so players far away can still get back to other people. Nether roof is allowed phantoms are removed and only half the players online are needed to sleep through the night.
The rules are pretty simple. Exploits lag machines duping spamming and harassment or racial slurs in chat are not allowed. Besides that players are mostly free to do what they want and the server stays close to the basic Minecraft survival style.
