Halcyon is a Lands PvP server that is going for an immersive medieval feel while still running the latest vanilla Minecraft 1.21.11. It is based in Australia and it has players from Europe the Americas and Asia. It usually sits around 10 to 30 players online.
The world is handmade and the rules are set up to make survival harder and slower. It tries to stop a lot of meta stuff and instead rewards teamwork creativity and players who specialize in jobs. Winning is more about bravery deals and building big cities and fortresses plus getting other players to join you.
Travel matters a lot here because there is no teleportation. People end up making roads waystations and even secret underground rail lines. Some crops and saplings only work in certain biomes so trading becomes important and different areas start to feel unique.
You do not have to follow strict lore. Players can just start like normal and see what stories happen as the server grows. Nights cannot be skipped and healing is slow and only works in certain conditions so you have to be careful out there.
