When they start a new season they keep player bases and nations but reset the rest of the world with a new seed so you always get fresh terrain without losing your builds.
The spawn is built by players and has a custom villager shop with cosmetic items and invisible item frames. There are small quality of life plugins like sitting on stairs slabs and carpets and a sleep plugin that slowly moves the night instead of skipping it. Simulation distance is 6 so redstone and mob farms can actually work. Achievements are turned on so the world is fully legit and not cheated.
