Leveling Skills

This server is called Altitude and it feels like a chill community survival place where people actually stay and play for a long time. It is a survival network that focuses on regular Minecraft with extra features to make things more interesting.

You can claim land to protect your builds so griefers cannot ruin your stuff. There is basic teleport like home and back so you do not spend all day walking. The server uses McMMO so you can level skills while you play and there is also a pet system so you can have your own creature follow you.

There is an economy with player shops so players can trade and build their own stores. Town style bases are supported with a custom warp plugin so you can move around to different communities on the server. There is a dynmap so you can see the world in your browser and explore from above.

PvP is optional so you do not have to fight if you just want to build and hang out. The server runs a newer version of Minecraft and they reset the world for major updates so players can enjoy fresh terrain. They also run monthly events which keep things from getting boring.

The rules are written out on their site and the server is meant for older players but anyone can join as long as they follow the rules and behave. Overall it feels like a relaxed place where you can log in after school or work build a base talk to people and slowly make the server your home.
