UnitedFront is a geopolitical SMP set on a full scale Europe map. It is not just basic survival since the main thing is politics and countries fighting over land.
Players run the governments and they can pick stuff like democracy monarchy or dictatorship. You can build capitals fortresses and real borders then try to expand through wars and sieges.
The server is about diplomacy too with elections laws alliances and even coups. There is no scripted lore and admins do not decide the outcomes so the players end up writing the history.
It supports cross play for Java and Bedrock.

I found this server called Iperios and it is built around making nations. You can start your own nation with your own government style your own laws and your own ranks. If you do not feel like leading you can just join a nation that already exists.
The server is running the Allthemods 10 modpack on version 5.4 so you have to use that version to join. It is a whitelist server so first you join the discord and ask to get whitelisted. The info for new players is explained there.
