I found a survival server where players can start their own nation or join one that already exists. You can set up your own government with laws and ranks and then try to grow your power.
The main idea is geopolitics and wars. There are resource camps in game that nations can conquer for income and for expanding into new territory. The server also pushes skill grinding with McMMO so fighting and progress feels tied to what you practice.
It uses Dynmap so you can see the world map. It also has claim protection and useful survival plugins plus spawners and custom enchants. New players join by getting whitelisted and a staff member can guide you and give a beginner kit.
