This is a Minecraft server called CinderCivs and it is a vanilla plus geopolitical roleplay world. The server has been running for over two years without a world reset so everything players build and change can last for a really long time.
Players create nations that fight wars make alliances trade and do diplomacy. Each nation is different and has its own government and power struggles. Some of these nations have been around since the beginning so new players will see old builds and history everywhere.
The world has a big claimable area that is ten thousand by fourteen thousand blocks. There is also an expansion area that gets reset every big update so people can explore new chunks and mine fresh resources. The nether is one to one size and there are faster railways and paths so traveling is easier.
There are custom recipes that help builders and a plugin that is made just for roleplaying. Almost everything on the server is driven by players instead of admins. The community is active and likes creative projects like writing lore drawing characters making maps and flags and building big things together.
If you want a long lasting world a lot of roleplay and nations that actually matter then this server is built for that style of play.

This is a pure anarchy server with true vanilla survival and no rules. You can do basically anything you want. There are no bans and the only thing that happens is mute for chat spam. The world does not reset so everything you build or destroy stays there.
The world border is 30 million blocks wide and the world is vanilla. When you die you respawn within 500 blocks of 0 0 so spawn is really chaotic. Over 6700 players have already joined so there is a lot of history and old bases and ruins.
There are no teleports and no shortcuts. The server runs on hard difficulty so surviving near spawn is tough and players can easily fight each other.
The community hangs out together and you can talk with the server owner named Vorlice who is around for technical questions. The server started in July 2023 and is always updated to the latest version like 1.21.8 and it also supports multiple versions with plugins so you do not need the exact newest version. It runs on strong hardware in New York so gameplay feels smooth and lag free.

Anarchy Network is a semi anarchy Minecraft server that tries to feel like real vanilla survival. It launched on October 11th 2024 and runs all day and night.
You can join on Java versions from 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 and it is best if you use 1.21.10 so things do not break. The world border is huge with 2 million blocks each way so you can run really far and hide.
The server has no map resets and there is no teleporting at all except for a simple spawn command so people far away do not feel stuck forever. There is no pay to win and griefing and pvp are fully allowed so you always have to watch your back.
The gameplay tries to stay close to vanilla. Phantoms are removed and you are allowed to use the nether roof. Only half of the online players are needed to skip the night so it is not too annoying.
The rules are simple. You cannot use exploits lag machines or dupes. You also cannot spam or harass people in chat or use racial slurs. Besides that most things are allowed so the server feels wild but still not totally out of control.

You can join on a lot of Java versions and they recommend using 1.21.10 so stuff does not break. There are no map resets so everything you do will stay unless another player blows it up.
This server allows full pvp and griefing so you really have to watch your back. There is no teleporting at all and there is no pay to win shop. The only command you get that is not vanilla is spawn so people super far away can still get back to others.
They also let you use the nether roof and they removed phantoms and only half the players are needed to skip the night which makes survival a bit less annoying.
