This is a modern apocalypse Java server where the world is turning into a nightmare and parasites are coming for everyone.
Players start inside a quarantined zone called Alpigus. For the first 7 days you are trapped behind a powered wall. When the power fails the wall opens and the Nether unlocks and the End becomes reachable too.
There is also a big deadline. If you do not escape before the grid failure protocol hits then a nuke drops inside the wall and wipes everything in the zone.
It is not hardcore. There is a land claim system so people cannot grief you or force PVP on you in your claim. But it does not stop stealing and you can toggle PVP in claims with claim commands. The idea is to survive the quarantine then build a real base outside and keep going while the parasites spread.
