This is a tiny fully vanilla server with only a few people on it right now. There is a discord with around four people and usually only two are active on the world.
The server is on version 1.21.8 and it is just normal Minecraft survival with no extra stuff. It is meant for players who want a small chill place to play and actually show up a lot.

Twix SMP is a chill java server where people mainly like to build and hang out. It feels like a cozy place and the players seem pretty friendly.
The server is vanilla but has a few small quality of life tweaks that make building feel better and more fun. PvP is not allowed so you do not have to worry about getting randomly killed while you work on your base.
It is based in the EU but there are players from different places too. There is an active event manager team that hosts events on a regular basis so there is usually something going on.

EncoreSMP is a small vanilla style Java survival server that started about a month ago. The owner has a base far away from spawn so the world near spawn is still almost fresh. Close to spawn there is only a mob farm and a sugar cane farm.
The server is meant to be very chill and hands off. The owner works a normal job and plays mostly in the evenings and on weekends. They will fix technical server issues but social problems might take longer so players are expected to follow the rules on the discord and just be decent.
It is almost pure vanilla with a few server side datapacks like multiplayer sleep coordinates HUD and AFK display. There are some performance mods on the server side too. No crazy plugins or game changing stuff.
Any skill level is welcome. The owner says they are just an average Minecraft player and wants people who enjoy playing regularly. Voice chat is not really used and Simple Voice Chat is not installed right now but might be added later if people really want it.
If you want a relaxed survival world and want to be one of the first regulars on the server this one feels like a good place to start.

This is a chill adult SMP that feels really friendly and safe. People here are super welcoming and easy to talk to. The vibe is relaxed and comfortable so it does not feel sweaty or stressful at all.

I found this server called JuiceySMP and it feels like a small but growing survival world. It is run by a small twitch streamer and they already get around ten or more players on at peak time which makes it feel alive but not super crowded.
The server has random teleport so you can start out in a fresh spot. There is an auction house so players can trade stuff in a cool way and there is also a shop so you can buy and sell gear and blocks. They even have some gambling if you want to risk your stuff for a chance at more.
One of the coolest things is simple voice chat so you can actually talk to people while you play instead of just typing. The community seems really friendly and lots of different people come through the server so you can always find someone to hang out with.
If you like chill survival with an economy and voice chat and you want a place that is not too sweaty this server feels like a good spot to give a try.
