This server feels like a chill SMP where you can play your own way. You can join a town and live with other players or you can wander out into the survival world and build a home somewhere quiet. There is a random teleporter so finding open land is not a pain.
Protection is really simple here since you can use a menu with /ucp to set up claims without doing a bunch of commands. It stops people from messing with your area and you can also lock doors and chests. If something bad happens and you forgot to protect then staff can help fix it.
The PvE side has custom mobs and world bosses with special drops like speed boost gear extra health shields and collectible chat tags. There is also a Labyrinth dungeon for people who want bigger challenges and better rewards.
You keep your items when you die so lava and creepers do not delete your whole day. There is a player run economy with jobs and player shops. Skills level up too and they can give real perks like better alchemy later on. The community is friendly and it feels easy to get started.
