    I found a very early alpha server that is going for late medieval faction warfare with RPG style progression and a player run economy.

    You can pick how you want to play. You can go all in on PvP wars. You can grind like an MMO. Or you can stay more independent and be a trader gatherer craftsman or contractor who supplies factions and builds for other players.

    There is custom content like crops furniture and custom weapons and armor with unique effects. The economy uses mixed currency and the main market hub is called Osthaven where you spawn and trade.

    Out in the wilderness players can set up temporary camps that are protected. Mobs are stronger than vanilla and there are boss mobs that are meant for party play. Trading is also safer because it uses a secure MMO style trade window system.

    Since it is early alpha they want testers who will try mechanics find bugs check balance and give honest feedback to help shape the server.

    AeternalCiv is a geopolitical civilization building server where players try to make their own path. You can live as a citizen. You can try to be a king or queen. You can also just be a hermit and do your own thing.

    It has building protection with reinforcement using Citadel. It also uses Snitchmod so actions can get tracked. There are extra systems like Slimefun and Origins plus Brewery and ValhallaMMO. The world also has seasons and levelled mobs so survival can feel more RPG.

    The server started as a small friend group and now they want more people to join in. It is in active development for a while so expect changes and new mechanics over time.

    Procedural Kingdoms Semi-Vanilla Alpha SMP

    SSUKingdoms is a semi vanilla style Paper server on 1.21+ and it is in alpha. It is not trying to be a normal SMP. The whole point is a procedural medieval kingdom sandbox where the world generates multiple kingdoms inside a fixed circular map with a hard border wall.

    Each kingdom comes with its own capital and roads and identity. You can join a kingdom and earn loyalty then climb ranks and work through progression. Capitals have protected spaces and you can claim plots too.

    There is a treasury system that helps fund stuff like roads and guards and capital growth. A lot of the main gameplay runs through NPCs with a kingdom UI plus shops jobs and contracts. There is also road repair gameplay and events like caravans patrols bandits and early raid style world pressure.

    They are mainly looking for alpha feedback on how the roads feel how capitals feel onboarding progression balance kingdom identity and any bugs or weird generation.

    I found Rai Nations and it is a session based nations server. Sessions run on Wednesdays Friday Saturday and Sunday. It feels nice if you do not want to fall behind after the first few days.

    The server is about nations and people interacting. Diplomacy matters a lot and wars are rare and feel like a big deal when they happen. The rules are meant to protect what you build so offline raiding is not really a thing.

    There is a merchants village where you trade credits for stuff. You can get all kinds of items like enchants and building blocks. Sometimes events happen in the village too.

    There is also lore with Unknown entities. In season one Unknown was a main enemy and after the last battle it split into five fragments. They can show up during sessions and you never know what they will do like combat jump scares or strange deals.

    The world has history and ruins from old civilizations. People also add to the story over time. The community is active with around 18 to 25 players at peak so you usually have someone to talk to or trade with.

    I found a brand new geopolitical Minecraft server that started today so everybody is on the same level. There are no stacked kingdoms yet and it feels like the best time to jump in and not be behind.

    It is about making nations and picking sides. People do alliances then they argue then they trade then they plan wars. The politics part is a big deal so you can do diplomacy and strategy with other groups.

    Java and Bedrock can play together. The Nether and the End are locked for now so progression stays balanced early on. There is proximity chat so you can talk to players near you which makes meetups feel real.

    They say the community is mature and the server stays active with players on through the day.
