CaliCraft is a player run Minecraft server based out of California where you can actually shape what happens. Every two weeks players elect an Emperor and this role has real power over the server. They can change plugins make laws and even imprison people for basically any reason. If you get marked as a fugitive you can end up spawning in prison when you die or get dragged back in handcuffs if you get caught.
The Emperor still has to follow a Constitution but they can add temporary laws during their reign. If players vote in a Discord poll for 3 days a law can become permanent so the server can change over time.
There is a lobby first and it gets you into the different gamemodes fast. Modded Survival has custom enchantments skills jobs an auction house an economy custom dungeons and vote crates with strong gear. It is also a claim world and it has a kingdom that the Emperor runs.
