I found a brand new geopolitical Minecraft server called New Haven and it started super recently so the world feels wide open and fair.
It supports crossplay so Java and Bedrock players can join together. The End and Nether are locked for now so early game progression stays more balanced.
The whole point is building nations and making alliances then starting wars if you want. It is more about politics and diplomacy with trade and strategy mixed in.
It also has SVC proximity chat so you can talk to players near you and it feels more real. Right now nobody is stacked yet so it is a good time to start your own nation and shape the map from the beginning.
