Instead of normal land claims it uses a Citadel style reinforcement system. Your stuff can be protected with block based protection so you do not have to stress about chunk borders.

There is a character system and a kingdoms system that lets you create kingdoms or join one or even destroy one. Kingdoms have borders and can go to war or make alliances or just stay independent. The politics are all decided by players and not by scripts.

The server is semi vanilla so it tries to keep normal Minecraft gameplay but with a few custom things to make it better. There is a custom mod that lets you create a kingdom and use special commands. You can change your identity in the tab list and in chat so you really feel like a different character.
PVP is scary here because if you die in PVP you get a 24 hour ban. That makes fights more intense and people think before they attack. There is voice chat so players can talk and roleplay with each other more easily.
