HoneySMP is a small survival server that really cares about the players. It is set up so the community helps shape the server instead of just following what an admin says.
The owners want builders redstone players and explorers who want to help decide what happens next. They actually ask for feedback and use it to add features and change things. It feels more like a project everyone shares than some random public server.
The server is very against pay to win. You can earn ranks keys and perks by just playing. You do not have to buy stuff to keep up which makes it feel fair.
There are community events like Elytra races and wild Honey Heists that use voice chat. The server also has a custom key forging system where you combine keys to make better ones so crates are not boring. There are helpful spawn chests where you can take what you need so new players are not stuck with nothing.
HoneySMP works on both Java and Bedrock so people on different platforms can still play together. Right now the community is small and tight so it is easy to make friends and the owner actually knows who you are. It feels like a place you can stay on for a long time and call home.
