Back2Basics SMP is a community driven semi vanilla survival server that tries to keep things fair and simple. It started in December 2023 and it is under new ownership by Theyseemelol1ng.
It has lightweight custom plugins that keep the vanilla vibe but add some quality of life stuff. You keep your inventory when you die and you can use random teleport to find a new spot fast.
Griefing is not the vibe here since there is a custom land claiming system. You claim with a command and you can view your claims and see the borders.
The server has a player economy with in game currency so people can buy sell and trade. There is also a cosmetic store and rewards you can earn by playing plus a monthly voting competition.
They run weekend events like build battles staff hunts and quests on Saturdays and Sundays. The staff and community are active and they say it is newbie friendly.
You can join on versions 1.9 through 1.21+ and 1.21+ is recommended.
