GamerHub Towny is a new Towny server that started as a streaming setup and now it is trying to grow into a bigger place.
The vibe is chill and the world has no resets. Griefing and stealing are not allowed so your stuff is meant to stay safe. The community is welcoming and likes helping new players.
It has ingame ranks you can earn with ingame money. You also get Dynmap so you can see the world easier. There are player warps and player shops plus a sell only server shop. Jobs and MCMMO are on too.
It usually has a few players online and it gets the most active during Twitch streams when it can hit 10 or more players. It supports version 1.21.10 or similar and it also has a Bedrock port.

I found a chill SMP that is newly released and it keeps things simple. It is semi vanilla so it feels like regular Minecraft and it does not shove extra stuff in your face.
The server has anti grief rules so your builds are safer. There is an economy and jobs so you can grind and trade and pick your own journey.

Northwoods is a Towny SMP style server that is still early and looking for a small handful of players to help test gameplay and performance.
The world and your progress are not getting reset so what you build and earn will stick around.
It runs Towny with chat support plus stuff like levelled mobs shopkeepers simple jobs and a custom terrain generator. There is also Distant Horizons support and a custom CurseForge pack with Distant Horizons and a few client side mods.
