Foggy Willows is a server that really is full vanilla. It runs on the normal minecraft server jar with no datapacks and no plugins at all. It always uses the latest stable vanilla version.
There is no giant spawn with confusing signs. You just join and play. You deal with other players yourself and the server does not hold your hand. You can play how you want and build what you want. Technical players are welcome too.
The server is in hard mode and there is no world border. There is also no teleport and no sethome. There are no donations or pay to win ranks. It is self hosted on a machine that is made just to run the server.

This is an 18 plus whitelist server that feels like a big friend group. It is made by the players for the players and the community is super active. There are usually around 5 to 20 people on and about 100 total players who come and go.
The gameplay is like a Hermitcraft style SMP with a diamond based economy. There is a shopping district with player shops and also public builds and community projects. Most players use proximity chat so talking in game feels really natural.

Foxden is a small Java semi vanilla survival server that feels really cozy. It is made to be fun and friendly and the owner tries to be online a lot and hang out with everyone.
The server is mostly vanilla but there are a few plugins and datapacks to make things more interesting. There is Bluemap and discord integration and some extra heads and other little tweaks. A brand new map just started so everyone is still building up and it is a great time to join.
The rules are pretty simple. No griefing and no stealing. Do not mess with other peoples builds or animals unless they say it is ok. Do not use farms or villagers unless they are marked public or you have permission. PvP is only allowed in minigames or when both players agree.

This is a big Minecraft civilization event server that runs in seasons.
Season 4 is starting in February and it is based on Maze Runner. There will be a fresh new world new teams and new battles. The whole idea is that a ton of players join different civilizations and try to win together.

This is an Origins anarchy server that uses tons of different Origins so every player feels different. It is Java only and based in NA West but anyone can join and play.
When you join you pick from over 150 different Origins. Each Origin is exclusive so no one else can pick the same one you did. Some people might spawn in the nether and others can only live in the ocean. It makes every journey feel unique and kind of crazy.

EncoreSMP is a small vanilla style Java survival server that started about a month ago. The owner has a base far away from spawn so the world near spawn is still almost fresh. Close to spawn there is only a mob farm and a sugar cane farm.
The server is meant to be very chill and hands off. The owner works a normal job and plays mostly in the evenings and on weekends. They will fix technical server issues but social problems might take longer so players are expected to follow the rules on the discord and just be decent.
It is almost pure vanilla with a few server side datapacks like multiplayer sleep coordinates HUD and AFK display. There are some performance mods on the server side too. No crazy plugins or game changing stuff.
Any skill level is welcome. The owner says they are just an average Minecraft player and wants people who enjoy playing regularly. Voice chat is not really used and Simple Voice Chat is not installed right now but might be added later if people really want it.
