This server started in 2020 when everyone was stuck at home and a group of friends just wanted Minecraft to feel like old Minecraft again. They were tired of huge plugin lists and confusing land claiming and all that stuff that makes things feel more like menus than a world.
Now most of those friends moved on but a smaller and really dedicated community stayed. The whole point of this place is to just hang out and chill and feel like you left real life for a bit. People hop on to talk and build and just exist together.
There are players from all over the world. The owner is from Australia and there are also a bunch of people from Europe and North America. It feels like no matter what time you join there is someone around.
The vibe is simple survival with a big focus on community. If you want a place that feels like Minecraft first and not like a minigame hub this server is built exactly for that.

GraspatjeSMP is a simple vanilla plus style server that is made just to have fun. It stays open all the time and only restarts every six hours for a few seconds so you can basically play whenever you want.
The world is meant to last a long time and there are no resets planned right now. The owner might reset the outer end islands later in the game but nothing crazy like big events. It runs on Fabric 1.21.10 and will update to 1.21.11 or 26.1 soon.
The rules are pretty straightforward. You cannot kill players within about 100 blocks of spawn so there is no spawn killing. Griefing and stealing are allowed so it is a good idea to hide your base and build far away. Hacking and exploits are not allowed. Stuff like full bright and cave maps is fine but no freecam unless you are just making content and not using it to cheat and no hacked clients.
Java players can join and the owner wants bedrock players to try to join too and say if it works. Moderation is taken seriously and saying you did not know the rules will not save you. It feels like a survival server where you are free to do what you want but you still have to think before you act.

Rattata SMP is a vanilla style server that is meant for players who are 18 or older. It is run on Paper and it lets both Java and Bedrock players join so more friends can play together.
The server tries to stay as close to normal Minecraft as possible. There is no teleport command and no special loot tables and no custom world generation. It runs on hard difficulty and has a live map and 33 percent player sleep and an optional simple voice mod.
The rules are really basic and easy to understand. Do not grief and use common sense. The community is meant to be mature and chill and focused on building and playing together.
The server is whitelist only and it started on December 26 so the world is still pretty fresh and there is room to grow and build a new community.

This is a hardcore SMP where death is permanent and there are no map resets or revives. The world has been running for many months and thousands of players already joined and many of them are gone forever.
The map is huge and PvP raiding and griefing are turned on everywhere. You are never really safe and every step you take could be the one that ends your run.
The server feels like vanilla but it uses plugins that make hardcore more intense. You can get player heads see dead players ender chests use simple voice chat and there are advanced stats and other stuff that keeps track of what happens.
Players make bases and alliances that sometimes control the server for a while and then they still die and lose it all. Nothing is scripted. All the drama wars and betrayals come from the players themselves so the stories feel real.

This is a semi vanilla survival server that is all about community and building cool stuff together. It feels pretty simple but it has a bunch of helpful features that do not ruin survival.

This is a survival world that is meant to last for years not just for a season. The world does not reset so anything you build or destroy is going to stay. That makes progress feel important because it will not be wiped for no reason.

This server is called Utopellite Echoes Eternity and it is a small friendly public SMP run by a few friends. It is open for anyone who wants a relaxed place to play.
The main thing I noticed is the claim system. You can protect your builds and your stuff from mobs and from other players. There is also a home system so you can always get back to your claim and not lose where you live.
The server has an economy with chest shops warps and jobs. You can earn money and set up your own shop. There are also crates that you can open with vote keys or by getting one of the five ranks on the server.

Cozy MC is a long term survival server that feels really calm and intentional. It is not one of those huge networks with tons of random features and fast resets. It just feels like real Minecraft survival that is meant to last.

OneCraft is a simple survival SMP that feels like vanilla but with some cool extra stuff. It runs a few server side mods and datapacks that make the world bigger and more interesting but it still plays like normal Minecraft.
