I found this hardcore social experiment server that runs on Java 1.21.1 and also works for Bedrock. It is built around two separate islands with one shared economy so everyone is tied together even if they live far apart.
One island is Winter and it sounds stacked with rare minerals and resources but it is also a brutal wasteland. The other island is Summer and it is way easier to live on with fertile land but it gets overcrowded fast so it turns into a mess.
You only get one life because it is hardcore so when you die you are done. Simple Voice Chat is mandatory for every interaction so you have to actually talk to people.
The whole thing runs in weekend sessions so players collide more and the power struggle stays intense. They already accepted over 100 applications but they are still looking for more players.
