The Tavern SMP is a near vanilla survival server on version 1.21.11. It feels like normal Minecraft but with some quality of life and cosmetic plugins to make stuff smoother.
It runs on a greylist so anyone can join. You just link your discord account in game and it is automated so there is no long whitelist wait.
Players use a nether roof travel hub and there is no world border so far. TNT dupers are allowed and redstone contraptions are fine as long as they do not cause noticeable lag.
The server does not do forced resets. World changes and resets only happen if the community votes for it. There are occasional community projects and events and the overall vibe is laid back and relaxed.
It also has proximity voice chat plus a live web map and a statistics site.
