Pixel Springs is a cozy modded SMP on Minecraft 1.20.1 and it is made to be a long term world that does not reset. It feels like a chill place for builders collectors and anyone who likes a comfy survival pace.
The mod list leans hard into building and decorating so you can make pretty bases and towns. There are also lots of farming and cooking mods and you can earn in game currency by doing quests and daily rewards. People can build shops in the shopping district and make a little market setup.
It also has FTB Quests which helps you learn mods while getting rewards. For exploring and gathering there is a separate resource overworld dimension that resets sometimes so resources stay available.
You will see magic mods too like Botania Hexerei Mystical Agriculture and Ars Nouveau. There are also lots of animals and extra creatures to find plus fashion items like hats costumes and more gear. The community is small friendly and inclusive and the admin team is active and the server does frequent backups.

I found a server that kept its world after the first season ended. Season 2 starts on the same land so you spawn into places that already have stories. There are old builds left behind like towers that never got finished and mines that go way deeper than people remember and houses with sorted chests.
It is vanilla plus on Fabric and it feels hands off. There is no land claim system and no economy plugin pushing you around. You can follow old roads if you find them or just head into the dark and make your own spot. You can even finish a build that someone else started.
It uses Xaeros Minimap and it also has Dynmap so you can watch the world as it fills in. There are extra blocks for building and more detailing mods too. It also includes Friend and Foe for more mobs.
