Aelythera MCRP is a new Minecraft roleplay server for players who are 16 or older. It feels like a story first and a game second. The staff all come from other roleplay servers and they want this one to feel like a fresh start and a whole new world.
The setting starts in a normal world called Koriam with steampunk tech. A big event called The Great Vanishing made a bunch of people disappear. Now it is happening again and your character is taken away to a new place full of magic and ruins. Your old status does not matter anymore and you have to begin again.
The main idea of the server is discovery. You discover your new powers and your new home and try to figure out what happened to all the lost technology. You can research the new world or work on rebuilding inventions but it is not easy and even making tools is a challenge.
The community is meant to be inclusive and staff try to make sure everyone is involved. They are open to suggestions from players even for the lore to help make the world more exciting. There is a beta test starting on January 18 and a full release on January 24.
