ArcticMC is a fresh survival server that mixes Towny and factions so you can claim land and build a town or team up with allies and fight for territory.
PVP matters here but it is not just random chaos. They use an honor system and it is explained in their Discord rules so fights feel more fair.
It also has McMMO skills so you level up while you play and unlock special abilities as you progress. The world uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks wild with big mountains and nice valleys.
There are custom items too and they even have furniture that is entity based. They plan to limit furniture per chunk to help with lag. The community is described as calm and friendly and more about chilling than drama.
