HermitiaSMP is a small survival server that is inspired by Hermitcraft and is all about community and teamwork. It feels like a place where people actually talk to each other and work together on cool stuff.
The server runs weekly events that help new players join in fast. Some events are in game and some are in real life or art competitions. There are event houses and community builds where you join a house and earn points for it so it feels like a friendly rivalry.
There is optional proximity voice chat so you can talk to people who are near you in game if you want. If you do not like talking you can just type instead so it is not forced.
The server has its own HermitiaSMP datapack plus some quality of life mods that keep it close to vanilla but with extra fun features. There are anti grief plugins like CoreProtect so your builds are protected and the world feels safe.
There is also a server news service so players can keep up with what is happening. The community runs a roleplay style government so players can get into politics and lore. Server lore is being worked on and is coming soon so there will be more story for people who like that kind of thing.
