The Loft is a semi vanilla survival server that has been running for almost four months. It is made for adults only so everyone is at least 18 and the vibe feels more mature and chill. The server runs on version 1.21.9 and sits on USA central time.
The gameplay is mainly survival with a few quality of life plugins. There is stuff like treefeller and essentials plus protection tools like coreprotect and a world map with bluemap. It still feels close to normal Minecraft but with some extras that make life easier and safer.
The community is focused on being kind and respectful. There is no griefing or stealing allowed and pranks have to be consensual and not super destructive. Non consensual pvp is not allowed and if someone dies their items have to be returned. People are told to use common sense and avoid spam or super off topic stuff in the wrong channels.
They run events and are planning things like a secret Santa in December. The server is looking for active players who like building mega bases or doing cool redstone and they really want to see what new players create. It feels like a good place if you want a small growing adult community and a simple survival world with some helpful plugins.

You can use our friendly protection menu (type /ucp) to fully set up your own protection without having to type any other commands! This prevents players interacting with your area. Furthermore, you can lock your doors and chests! If you forget to protect land and do get griefed, One of our friendly and trained staff members will fix everything!
Custom mobs and bosses
Take on a new challenge with our unique mobs and 3 world bosses for you to kill. Each boss has unique drops such as Speed boost gear, shield that grants bonus health and collectable chat tags! If you are brave, you enter the Labyrinth dungeon for either greater rewards.
Keep items on death
You will no longer lose your hours worth of mining by falling in lava or losing your items from a sneaky creeper. You keep all of your items on death.

Choose a job and earn money from doing tasks or earn money by setting up your own store!
Immersive Skill and Jobs system
Level up skills to gain extra powers or Become #1 on skills leaderboard. Each skill greatly improves your playing experience in those skills. For example, Alchemy gains access to haste and health boost potions at level 65.
