This is a semi vanilla SMP that was started a couple weeks ago and it already feels like a small town. The server is on hard mode and it has a few plugins but you can turn them off if you want to play more like vanilla.
There are around ten to fifteen people on most of the time and everyone seems pretty close. People build near each other if you ask and they visit each other a lot. Players like to trade help out and share items when you need something so it feels really friendly.
The world gets reset only about once a year so it is meant to last a long time. There is a shopping district starting up and the nether just opened a few days ago so the nether hub is being built now. The end is not open yet so that is still something everyone is waiting for.
They want people who join to actually be good friends and part of the community not just grab stuff and leave. It is a relaxed place but still active and it looks perfect if you want a chill SMP with adults who actually talk and play together.
