Atoq is a chill vanilla plus SMP that started as a friend group server and turned into a real community. It runs on Java 1.21.1 and it uses Origins with custom origins too.
People play in long seasons so builds and progress actually matter. The server also does events and polls so players can help decide what happens next.
You have to do a form application to join. The community is established and there are active voice chats plus in game voice chat and a paint mod.
There is a market system and a mayor system for players who like economy and community stuff. Heart trading is allowed but it is consensual only. It is also LGBT+ and neurodivergent friendly and there are channels for content promotion.
