DawnpeakSMP is a new ultimate survival server that is made for players who really like tough Minecraft.
The world is on hard difficulty so you actually have to pay attention. You do not rush to endgame and every upgrade feels like you really worked for it. There are no shortcuts and no pay to win stuff so everyone has to earn their gear through playing.
There is proximity voice chat so you talk to people who are close to you in game. It makes every meeting feel kind of scary and exciting because you never totally know what will happen.
The server has custom mobs and big boss fights that are way harder than normal Minecraft. Major battles are meant to be intense and memorable so you actually need to prepare and work together.
There are also tons of custom craftable items like weapons tools blocks and decorations that you can learn and master. The world is built for exploration with custom structures hidden places dungeons and special encounters for players who like to wander around.
You can create towns and clans and use an economy system to trade or do diplomacy or fight other groups. The whole server is about survival exploration and community with no pay to win and a brutal world that rewards players who do not give up.

Nebula SMP is a semi vanilla lifesteal server where every kill steals a heart and every death makes you weaker. It is made for people who like competitive survival but still want it to feel friendly.
The server has an active and respectful community that likes pvp base building raiding and making alliances. PvP and raiding are allowed so you always have to watch your back. Slowfalling and rockets are not allowed in combat and cps pvp is not allowed either so fights are more fair.
There is a lifesteal plugin and players can use simple voicechat which is highly recommended. The server has villager pickup and infinite trading so trading and villager setups are easier.

This server is a vanilla style survival world that starts you in the middle of an ocean. When you join you have to swim or use a boat to reach land and then you can start your own journey.
The world is really old and was first made in 2011 so you can find super old terrain mixed with newer areas and a lot of ruins if you explore far enough. It feels like digging through Minecraft history while still finding fresh places to build.
The server uses a few simple datapacks that give you commands like trigger home and trigger spawn and you can set up to 10 homes per player. Other than that it plays like normal Minecraft with no changes to gameplay or terrain generation. Player and mob heads can sometimes drop in fights which is cool for trophies.
The server always runs the latest Minecraft snapshot so you can try new features early before they are on most other servers.
There are only two rules. Treat other players with respect and do not try to crash the server on purpose. Almost everything else is allowed. Griefing is allowed and hacked clients are allowed so you need to be smart about where you build and who you trust.
