This is a small server called 5tarRock that has been in development for a few months and it just released. The world is completely custom and they changed how ores generate and how combat works. There is also a special climate system and more stuff based on realism.

The server is semi vanilla but you actually have to work for your items. You cannot just build crazy auto farms and let the game play itself. A lot of easy automation is disabled so players have to play for real and earn their gear.

The community feels small and chill and they are clearly still growing and looking for new players who like survival and realism. They also have a contest going on right now where people can redesign their logo and banner. The prize is 125 dollars if your design wins.
