The focus is on pure vanilla gameplay with both PvP and PvE, minimal plugins, and very little admin intervention. Everything is built in survival mode and creative is not allowed. The world is permanent, with a map that will never be reset and a seed that will never be shared. The server is intentionally challenging, with tough monsters and frequent early deaths for new players. There are small survival bases scattered around the large spawn radius to help newcomers, but because this is an anarchy style environment they are often raided and emptied. Cooperation is encouraged but not enforced, and players are free to form alliances or embrace chaos as they see fit.

The server features more than 200 unique custom items, including spells, crayons, TNT guns, and gear sets with special buffs. It also has custom developed monsters and bosses with unique drops and abilities, along with seasonal events that add collectible gear and themed enemies. Raiding and PvP are rewarded through the in game economy. You can earn money by killing players, fighting mobs, or raiding bases, and then use that money to buy custom items. Many of these items can also be obtained through essences that drop from mobs. The core survival experience has been made much harder. The economy is based on iConomy with Trade Bars as the main currency and Bits as change, used for buying items from player and server shops or purchasing different land options. After buying land you earn a title, such as Gentry for wild tiles or Villager for city tiles. Titles help you become known in Eldin and come with their own responsibilities. Griefing is frowned upon, but living in a city or other protected land helps keep your builds and items safe. By selling items to shops, trading with other players, or working jobs, you can grow your small plot into a town, then a hamlet, and eventually a thriving empire ruled by you. Declare war, control trade, fight monsters, or simply relax with friends on a server that has been running for many years.
