Devils SMP is a semi vanilla survival server with proximity voice chat so people can talk when they are close in game.
It is meant to feel like a toybox with a chill community. There may be a few light plugins for convenience like teleport requests.
The server is not live yet but it is planned to be up about a week after the post. Joining is done with a simple application and they mainly want kind players who do not grief.

I found a chill SMP that is newly released and it keeps things simple. It is semi vanilla so it feels like regular Minecraft and it does not shove extra stuff in your face.
The server has anti grief rules so your builds are safer. There is an economy and jobs so you can grind and trade and pick your own journey.
