ArcticMC is a new survival server that started just a couple days ago. It is an SMP that mixes Towny and factions so you can build a town and claim land then team up with others or try to take space for yourself.
PVP matters here but it is meant to stay fair. They use an honor system and they explain it in their rules.
You also get McMMO skills so you level up while you play. It feels more like an MMO since mining fighting and other stuff can level up and unlock abilities.
The world uses Tectonic generation so the terrain looks big and realistic with mountains and valleys. They also have custom items like furniture and it is entity based so they plan to limit it per chunk to help with lag.
The vibe is calm and friendly. It feels like a good place to grind build or just hang out and explore.
