Forgecraft MC is a server that is all about mining and forging gear. When I joined it felt like the whole world was built around turning ores into crazy armor and weapons.
You can mess around with over a thousand different gear variations. It feels a bit like that forge game on Roblox but inside Minecraft which is actually really cool if you like grinding and testing builds.
The server is run by just two people who are making their own plugins map textures and code. It feels homemade in a good way and you can tell they really care about the project.

This is a small ATM 10 To The Sky server that wants to stay chill and not reset all the time. The owner made it because they were tired of worlds wiping every month and servers always asking for money just so you can claim chunks.
The server is kept at around twenty active players so it can stay lag free. It feels like a quiet place where you can build and work on tech without random chaos. The goal is to just relax and actually finish the modpack together.
There are no banned items unless something literally crashes the server. That means you can use almost everything as long as it does not break stuff. People are expected to just be cool and not ruin it for others.

Legends of Stonehaven is a new medieval fantasy RPG server that uses a big modpack. It feels like a full adventure game not just normal Minecraft.
The combat is totally different with cool animations and a dodge move so fights feel more intense. There is an in depth skill tree and origins so your character actually feels unique and strong when you level up.
The pack has custom weapons armor trinkets bosses origins and even divine blessings that are balanced around this server. Enemies get stronger the farther you explore so the world stays dangerous as you progress.
There are two main magic mods that give you a lot of utility in and out of combat. The overworld nether and end are all overhauled with new biomes so the world looks like a real fantasy adventure map.
You can find hundreds of new dungeons and structures plus there are five extra dimensions to discover. There are over 200 quests you can do alone or with friends and some of them add story and lore about the world. You can spend your hard earned coins in a quest shop for useful items.
The modpack also focuses on performance with mods to help fps and load times. There are quality of life things like backpacks and better storage so playing on the server feels smooth and not annoying.

Crowned SMP is a server that feels like normal Minecraft but with one crazy twist. There is a single crown that is stronger than everything else. It can not be burned. It can not be taken off. The player who has it is always glowing so everyone can see them.
There are no big mods or custom currencies here. No huge event spam and no annoying text overlays. It is basically pure survival Minecraft with the crown as the main thing everyone cares about.
The server does not force you to play a certain way. You can be a redstone nerd a grinder a builder a PVPer or just relax and hang out. You can chase the crown or ignore it and make a cool base.

Paradox SMP is a long term world where people actually stick around and build stuff over time. It feels like a place where you can start small and slowly turn your base into an empire.
The server is semi anarchy so you get a lot of freedom to play how you want and fight for your faction. It is not just a chill SMP where nothing happens. There is strategy and conflict and you are encouraged to defend your land and push your power.
The gameplay is vanilla plus so it still feels like normal Minecraft but with a bit more polish. You can focus on building your empire explore the world or join in on fights and raids.

This server is called Society Sunlit Valley and it is a modpack that feels like Stardew Valley but in Minecraft.
It is pretty new so the world is still fresh and there is a lot of space to build farms and towns.

This server is called Doobiecraft and it is a small modded place.
Right now it feels really lonely because it is the Christmas holiday. There are not many players on but it is actually pretty fun once you get into it.

Oathwood is a long term towny survival server where the world is meant to last and not just reset all the time. It feels like a place where players actually live and keep playing instead of hopping from one map to the next.
The server is built around towns and nations. Players claim land so they can build real towns and not just random bases. There are player shops and a full player driven economy so trading actually matters and you can earn power through smart deals.
PvP is on but it is not chaos. Fights are supposed to have a reason and not be just random killing. Towns give safety and reputation really matters. If you just grief for no reason that is not okay here but if there is a real conflict that matters.
The gameplay is normal survival with some light quality of life stuff so it still feels like Minecraft but less annoying. The community seems welcoming and likes cooperation more than loud drama. It looks like a good server if you want to grind slowly build a name and stay in the same world for a long time.

This is a small server that uses the Create Flavored modpack on forge. The owner just wants like five or six people so it feels chill.
The whole point is to play Create with other people because doing it solo gets boring. If you like machines and contraptions and want a tiny group this is what the server is trying to be.

MinecraftOffline is a survival server that feels pretty intense because it uses a lifesteal system. When you kill other players you gain hearts and when you die you lose hearts. If you lose all your hearts you get banned so every fight matters a lot. New players get one hour where they will not lose hearts so you can get used to the server before it gets serious.
The server has simple quality of life commands like sethome and home so you can save your base and teleport back. There is also a tpa system so you can request to teleport to other players and accept them.
PvP is a big deal here. There is a plugin that blocks commands while you are in combat and if you combat log it spawns a killable NPC that drops your stuff. There is also a plugin that tries to stop extreme speed cheats so fights stay more fair.
Chat is protected from crazy spam and there is a vote skip night command so players can work together to pass the night. The server tracks playtime kills and deaths and gives rewards at certain milestones.
There is an in game store where you can spend vote tokens on things like custom name colors and custom MOTDs. It feels like a server for players who like risk and PvP and want a simple but different survival experience on the newer version.
