This is a European lifesteal anarchy style server where you fight other players and try to survive. It feels pretty hardcore because when you kill players you get extra hearts and when you die you lose hearts. If you lose all your hearts you get banned so every fight actually matters.
They use a bunch of custom plugins to make the game more intense. You can set a home and teleport back to it and you can send teleport requests to other players if you want to team or trap. New players get a one hour grace period so they do not lose hearts right away which helps you get started.
Combat is strict here. If you try to log out during fights you get punished because a npc of you stays and can be killed for your stuff. You also cannot spam commands in combat. There is some protection against crazy movement cheats and chat spam so it does not feel totally broken.
There is an in game store where you spend vote tokens on name colors and custom motds. The server tracks your playtime kills and deaths and gives rewards when you reach milestones. Players can also vote to skip the night with a simple command so you do not always have to sit in the dark.

This is a survival world that is meant to last for years not just for a season. The world does not reset so anything you build or destroy is going to stay. That makes progress feel important because it will not be wiped for no reason.
The server keeps things vanilla. TNT duping works and redstone behaves like normal so big farms and machines are possible. But unfair movement stuff and ESP or xray style cheats are actively blocked so survival still feels fair.

This server is a pure vanilla anarchy style survival world with ocean spawn. When you join you start in the middle of the water so you have to swim or use a boat to find land and that already feels like an adventure.
The world is super old and was first made in 2011 so you can find really ancient terrain and ruins. There is also newer terrain but you have to explore a lot to reach it. It feels like walking through Minecraft history.
The server uses just a few quality of life datapacks like trigger home and trigger spawn. You can set up to 10 homes per player. Nothing else really changes the gameplay or the terrain so it still feels like real vanilla.

This server is called Only Life and it is actually pretty scary. You only get one life and if you die you are done and you are banned. It is hardcore and semi anarchy at the same time so the whole thing feels super intense.

This is a survival server that really wants to stay as close to vanilla as possible. The world started in 2019 and the overworld has never been wiped so you can still find old bases and history all over the map.

I found this server called Anarchy Network and it is a semi anarchy world that tries to feel like real vanilla survival with barely any rules. It started in October 2024 and the world is not getting reset so everything you build or destroy stays there.
You can join on Java from old 1.7.2 up to 1.21.10 but the owner says 1.21.10 is best so stuff does not break. The world border is huge at 2 million blocks so people can go super far and hide bases.
On this server griefing and pvp are fully allowed. There is no pay to win and there is no teleporting to players or homes. The only real command you get that is not vanilla is slash spawn so people far away can still come back to other players. You can go on the nether roof and there are no phantoms and only half the people online are needed to skip night.
