It has Lifesteal so you gain hearts when you eliminate other players. It also uses Simple Voice Chat so you can talk in game. There are nice extras like shift click villager pick up infinite villager trades player head drops and gravestones so your items stay safe when you die.
People are supposed to be active and actually interact. You can team up make alliances start wars build hidden bases or massive projects and keep the world feeling alive.
