MinedHype is a friendly long term public survival server that has been run by the same owner for 7 years. It is a mostly vanilla SMP and it is on Minecraft 1.21.11. There is no whitelist so you can just join and start playing.
The server is strict about not being pay to win. There is no economy money plugin and player shops are item trades only. There is a public shopping district where you can apply for a shop.
You get grief protection with claims and grief is allowed if an area is not claimed. CoreProtect is used to help protect the server. The Overworld and Nether are meant to never reset and there is no set world border. Players spawn randomly within the first 40k blocks and you can use /rtp to search farther and set a /home.
It also supports Bedrock and Java cross play. There is a web based live map and chat reports are disabled. They run free events with prizes and the server has had over 19,600 unique players connect.
