Overview:

The ‘Minelanders started in 2019 and have been operating every year since! We launched the 6th Edition of the server last month! In this version, we’ve been graciously accepted by a cozy Gnomish Town in a lovingly crafted community built spawn. We’re a server with plenty to offer! We believe that Minecraft can be political and strategic when other players get involved. Whether you are interested in building grand designs, griefing and PvP, growing an influential clan, running a commercial empire, or just playing Minecraft with a regular crowd, you are a part of something bigger than just yourself. Community Nights:

Every couple weeks we host custom made maps/events for the community! Escape rooms, capture the flag, adventure maps, and more! This Saturday will be one chunk world, where the whole server will be locked in a single chunk for the night. Things are sure to go well!

Vanilla Reimagined:

General Information: We have rebalanced certain aspects of vanilla Minecraft through plugins and player feedback to allow for more varied gameplay experiences. Elytras, autofarms, and more have been adjusted to create a more balanced and enjoyable gameplay environment.

Overview

The ‘Minelanders is a semi-vanilla survival server. We believe that Minecraft can be a political game as well as a creative and PvP game, and our server is intended to lean into that. This means our server includes this general structure:

* Griefing is allowed, except in protected player plots

* Stealing is allowed, everywhere

* Player clans can be created for a small in-game cost, with access to clan chat.

* Protection plots can be purchased in four sizes for not-so-small in-game costs

– The world is restricted to 6,000 by 6,000 blocks, to encourage additional player interaction. [Currently 2k by 2k until 1.21 Paper is released in the coming week.]

– Player shops available near spawn to encourage player bartering.

– We have no teleport systems, to encourage players to interact with the world and increase player vulnerabilities.

– Despite all this, griefing tends to be less common in our community, as there’s also a desire to connect and build alliances between clans.

Every year we start up a new map for our community to play on. Our new version for this Summer launched on June 14th, 2024, and we are eager to welcome new people into the community! We have a record of 6 years of consistent summer semi-vanilla servers and winter modded servers. West Legacy is a server that’s based on providing as pure of a vanilla experience possible with few changes to vanilla gameplay and stable performance. We can guarantee no wipes or bans with the same map forever. PvP is enhanced with faster crystal placement and knockback sync to ensure as similar of an experience for all players as possible. The anti cheat is configured to allow for all vanilla behavior while also preventing almost any hack from working. This allows us to have no ops or bans while not having to deal with the consequences of modern hack clients.
