I found a hardcore social experiment server where you only get one life and then you are done. It runs on Java 1.21.1 and Bedrock so more people can join.
The world is split into two islands that feel totally different. One is a winter wasteland with rare minerals and strong resources but it is harsh. The other is a summer island with easy living and fertile land but it gets crowded fast.
It is set up like a big power struggle with one global economy. Simple Voice Chat is required for every interaction so you have to talk things out. The whole event happens in weekend sessions to keep everyone packed together and active.
