Turnabout is a whitelisted Java survival server for players who are 18 and up. It is semi vanilla so it still feels like normal Minecraft but with a few helpful extras.
The server is in Season 2 and it is about two months in. That means there is a newer world for people to explore together and settle into with both new and returning players.
The community seems like the main point here. People are friendly and there are players from lots of places so you can usually find someone online to play with.
It is also an LGBTQ+ friendly server with a zero tolerance rule for hate. The goal is to keep it a safe place where everyone can just be themselves.
They run events pretty often to help people meet each other. Past events include hide and seek building competitions and some general roleplay.
For quality of life they have one player sleep mob and player heads and voice chat. The server also says it has 24 7 uptime so you can hop on anytime.
