Sparked is a long term vanilla style SMP that feels like you just joined a friends server. It is simple on purpose and it feels really barebones in a good way. There are no crazy menus or popups and no warps and no land claims and just minimal quality of life stuff.
The server is focused on building and on talking to people. The community is mature and made of adults from different backgrounds. Most people play kind of like Hermitcraft but still do their own original thing. The admins stay active and they actually hang out with the players and keep the server running smooth.
Even though it feels super vanilla there are some protections behind the scenes so your builds stay safe if something happens. The owners also try to be open about server costs and specs and bans so it feels honest and transparent.
There are a few datapacks from Vanilla Tweaks like more mob heads and armor poser plus proximity voice chat and bluemap and player heads. Overall it is a chill place if you want a simple trust based world with a mature group.
