Onetale is a civilization style survival server made by Sir Ezran who you might know from Ish videos. It is built around community so people actually need each other to do well.
It is plugin based and it also uses a client modpack. Mobs are buffed and can even spawn during the day so it can feel more dangerous.
Mining is different because there are custom mines for iron gold and diamonds and they can cave in sometimes. Towny is used for claiming and there is claim upkeep so you cannot just grab everything forever.
Farming is also custom with seasons and crops that depend on the biome. Animals are not just free food either because you have to feed them and take care of them.
The server is getting ready for the Alpha 3 release on Feb 15. There are factions like Starfall plus other groups you can check out like Golden Heart and Black Crucible.
