I found a small semi vanilla SMP that is still being tested right now.
The plan is to start it up for real in about a week so it feels like a fresh beginning. It sounds like a chill survival place with a small group vibe.

I found a server called Split SMP that runs big civilization events. They do a new twist every month or two and it pulls in a lot of players.
This season is Season 4 and it is Maze Runner inspired. Everyone gets split into four teams and the whole event runs for 7 days.
