ArcticMC SMP is a chill survival server that just did a full map reset so everyone can jump in from day one.
It runs Towny and Factions so you can build a town make allies or fight over land. PVP matters here but they use an Honor System and it is explained in their rules.
You can level up with McMMO as you play and unlock abilities as your skills grow. The server also has custom items with recipes and even furniture you can sit on and they plan a per chunk limit to help with lag.
The world looks different too with custom world generation and big realistic mountains and valleys. Villages are revamped with new structure designs so exploring feels fresh.
