This server is starting a brand new season and it is built around making YouTube videos.
There is an official event day on January 14. That is when the new season really begins and everyone can hop in together.

GOOMB SMP is a vanilla style SMP on amplified terrain and it feels really cool to explore. The world was reset about a month ago and a lot of people already joined and started building bases all over the crazy mountains.
At first the world border was small so everyone had to base close together or share spots. Now the border is bigger so there is more room for different base ideas and long term plans. People are also getting ready for the End to open this weekend so everyone is excited to go get loot.
The Discord for the server is super active. People are advertising their shops sharing screenshots of the wild terrain and making trades or deals. Voice chats are usually full of players just hanging out and talking about what they want to build next.
The rules are very focused on respect. No racism no hate speech and no NSFW stuff. You have to be mature keep drama out of the server and just use common sense. There is no griefing no stealing and no PvP without consent so it is safe to build big projects without worrying.

This server is called Vanillacraft and it is made for people who want a simple Minecraft survival world without a bunch of crazy plugins. It feels like normal Minecraft but with other people. There are no big GUI shops or pay to win ranks and there is not even a server store.
The world is semi vanilla because they do use Coreprotect and staff to stop griefing. There is no land protection so you can build wherever you like but the staff watch the server and help keep builds safe. The players are really friendly and they like new people.
The economy is fully run by players. People make their own shops and there is a market district where you can buy a lot of different items. There is also a community spawn with farms and other useful stuff if you want a little headstart.
There are no teleport commands here so if you want to travel you use the nether roof or an elytra like in normal survival. The server just started a new season after about six months on the old world so new players can join in with a fresh start.

This server is called CaveMC and it is on Season 2 right now. The whole overworld is a giant cave world so there is no normal surface at all. Everything is underground with different biomes resources and structures so it feels super weird but also really cool.
It is semi anarchy survival so the world is pretty brutal. People can fight and grief and only the most clever players really last. The gameplay is still kind of vanilla but it has custom world generation that real Minecraft devs made so it looks and plays different from normal.
Season 2 adds a huge new thing called the Wasteland Dimension. It is not just a biome. It is like a whole extra place to explore. There is brand new gear you can only get there so combat and survival change a lot. There are big mega structures with secrets and loot so exploring actually matters.

AvalonEarth is a Minecraft earthsmp server with a 1 to 500 scale map so there is a lot of space to claim land and build nations. The server uses Towny so towns and nations are a huge part of the gameplay.
Everyone gets starter money when they join so you can make your own nation right away. You do not have to grind forever first and there are no weird player requirements just to start.
The server is on its second season. The first season started in September and a strong community grew from that. The new season already has lots of new players and feels really active.

Harvest SMP is a semi vanilla survival server that feels like a chill Hermitcraft style world that just started a new season so everyone is still pretty fresh.
The server is trying to build a really good relationship between the players and the admin team so it feels fair and fun for everyone. It uses a bunch of quality of life datapacks like better AFK display fast leaf decay multiplayer sleep double shulker shells armor stand posing and some small crafting tweaks. There are also things like miniblocks vault restocks and the dragon dropping an elytra and egg.
They usually build a shopping district a minigame district and even a casino style area. The server likes to host events like minigame nights and building contests to decorate spawn and people just hang out a lot.

GildedAbyss is a new modded SMP that is all about the community and how everyone interacts with the world. Season 1 is not started yet and the opening time depends on how many people join so it feels like we are building it together.

This is a Bedrock realm called Ruins Legacy Realms and it just started a new season so everything feels fresh. The world uses a 1 to 4000 earth map with normal Minecraft structures and biomes so it feels like playing on a huge version of the real world.
You can claim your own land and stay peaceful if you want. You can just build a base or a city and focus on cool builds. Or you can start wars fight other people and do PvP. You can also do both so builders and pvp players can all find something fun here.
