I found a Java server that feels mostly like normal Minecraft. It stays on the latest version and it only uses a couple quality of life plugins like Proximity Chat and VeinMiner.
The people playing are active and they seem friendly. The server is heavily moderated so griefing is almost not a thing.
It is meant to last a long time and the main goal is just a solid survival world with a good community. They are looking for nice positive gamers to join and hang out.
