I pulled out his pickaxe and handed it to him with a grin. The rest of our party laughed, thinking it was a funny prank. But Dave’s face turned bright red, and he got really flustered. He started shouting at me, accusing me of embarrassing him on purpose and ruining our quest. It was super awkward, and the Endermen were staring at us.
After a few minutes of heated exchange, Dave blurted out that he’s in debt to the Creeper Mafia and can’t afford to buy new gear. He said he was too embarrassed to tell us and was hoping we’d just keep lending him our stuff. Everyone went silent, and Dave stormed out of the stronghold.
