I found a very early alpha server that is going for late medieval faction warfare with RPG progression and a real player economy.
You are not forced into one playstyle. You can go all in on faction PvP. You can do MMO style grinding. Or you can live as a trader gatherer craftsman or contractor and supply factions and build for other players.
It has custom crops and custom weapons and armor with special effects. The economy uses mixed currencies and there is a secure MMO style trade window so trading is safer. There is a main market hub called Osthaven where you spawn and trade.
Out in the wilderness players can set up temporary camps that are protected with WorldGuard. There are custom mobs that are stronger than vanilla plus boss mobs that push party based fights.
They want testers who will try mechanics find bugs spot balance issues and give honest feedback so the server can be shaped early.
