This server is called EVA SMP and it feels like a long term world where you are supposed to take your time and grow slowly. It is Java Edition 1.20.2 and you just join without extra downloads.
The server uses something called Economy Points. You use these along with allegiances and territory to get stronger and unlock stuff. As you play you can get custom armor and supernatural abilities instead of getting everything right away.
Their factions are called allegiances. You can join one or start your own or just stay solo. You can trade with people explore build and join in conflicts and world events as new systems and tech get added over time.
There is a big World Tree dungeon that is part of the lore. In there you can fight harder enemies for special armor and rewards you cannot craft normally.
If you do not like fighting you can still progress. You can get special items quality of life stuff and Economy Points by building and farming so chill players are not left behind.
Right now the server is in beta and they are looking for people who want to test things give feedback and help shape how the server will be in the future.

Twilight Sanctuary is a chill 18 plus Minecraft server that feels like a small town. Everyone is encouraged to talk and hang out and make real friends. The owner really cares about player feedback and wants every person to feel like their opinion matters.
The server is mostly vanilla with some small quality of life plugins. It runs on Paper and has Java and Bedrock crossplay so more people can join. There is a diamond based economy that is inspired by hermitcraft so trading feels fun and player driven.
There is a resource world where people can go to gather materials and keep the main world looking nice. The server also has a live Bluemap so you can see the world from a browser and plan where to build.
The world border is smaller on purpose so players set up bases closer together. This helps people run into each other more and makes the community feel alive. There are lots of events planned and also surprise pop up events so there is usually something going on when the server is busy.
Twilight Sanctuary has already been running for over a month and is still going strong. There are still many projects to join and new ones to start and the community keeps growing with more adults who want a friendly place to play.
