I found a Java 1.19.2 Tensura server that is built around one modpack and it is meant to be brutal.
It uses a big stack of Tensura addons all in one world so you can go for ultimate skills racial evolutions and a bunch of extra items that come from that addon ecosystem.
The main vibe is Nightmare difficulty. Power is not free because magicule exhaustion matters and the bosses fight back with real tactics. It feels like you are not just leveling up you are trying to survive long enough to become a True Demon Lord.
